Our Mission
Norwalk Youth Carver Basketball will organize, promote and operate youth basketball teams for Norwalk boys grades 4th thru 8th, with the specific mission of providing athletes in the program with the opportunity to:

Compete in organized travel basketball games in the Fairfield County Basketball League (www.fcblhoops.org)
Improve their basketball skills through weekly basketball practices.
Develop positive social and personal qualities through team participation.
Receive academic support and encouragement.
Develop understanding and become involved with the diverse Norwalk community.
Understand and learn the game of basketball the way it is meant to be played.
Provide a great experience to both players and parents while accomplishing all of the above

2024-2025 Season Tryouts

Tryouts for the upcoming 2024-2025 season:

When: November 3rd

Where: Carver Center (7 Academy St, Norwalk CT)

Time:

8th Grade - 11:00 - 12:00

7th Grade - 12:15 - 1:15

6th Grade - 1:30 - 2:30

5th Grade - 2:45 - 3:45

4th Grade - 4:00 - 5:00

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your tryout to check in and get ready.

Season Details

Norwalk Youth Carver will compete in the FCBL. The season will run from the 1st week of December thru the 2nd week of March. Each team will practice 2 nights a week and play between 20-25 games throughout the season. Games will be played on the weekends and practices will be during the week.
